It’s that time of year where we all take moments to reflect on how much God has blessed us in our lives. He enriches our passing time on this earth with so much more than we deserve. And He has gifted us in the relationships that we have with one another: those who encourage us, help us, and are friends to us in our times of need.
At the core of the mission of Midwest Summer Camp is helping young people make those life-long friends, companions, and brothers & sisters. The bonds that they make at camp can be so strong and long-lasting. Having just that one “friend closer than a brother” can make all the difference in a young person’s life, and often, since 1982, that friend is found at camp.
We all know of someone who could benefit from attending camp, but don’t have the financial means to make it. So many of you are already helping those young people come to camp, through your love for them and your Christlike example. If you don’t personally know someone like this, but would still like to help, we’re asking for financial donations.
On this day, known as “Giving Tuesday”, we’re asking that you consider a donation to the financial help that a young person could use to go to camp in 2024. There are several outlets where you can give, listed below. If you wish, you can note which camp, Senior or Junior Week, your donation would go toward.
Note: Friends of Indiana Youth is a 501(c)3 organization, and all donations are tax-deductible.
Thank you so much for your generosity and your love!
