Parents, don’t worry about your camper as the rain stopped around the time the last events of the day were wrapping up, and we’re happy to say that no one was washed into Lake Shakamak! 😉 As the campers are currently busy demudding themselves in the showers, we warmed their chilly bones with some hot chocolate as they are cleaning up for dinner (BBQ pulled pork & mac ‘n cheese!!!) and Bible study to follow.

Saw it up close and personal. Kids are amazing and resilient, no whining, no complaining, even if they were somewhat cold and seeing no end to the rain. It did me good to witness it all.
