Wednesday morning, our flagpole devotion was led by Justin Hall. His topic was Being Strong When It Gets Hard. He talked about good examples we have in the Bible like Job who, regardless of his troubles, still praises God throughout. Some of the many reasons that MSC Jr. Camp runs so smoothly is our directors, Tyson and Ryan Bacon and their amazing staff. We would be remiss if we didn’t share a photo of each of them and tell them how much we thank their hard work this week.
This afternoon we received quite a bit of rain at Shakamak, but it didn’t slow us down one bit. As a matter of fact, it only made the afternoon more interesting. Here are some photos and a brief video clip from one of the soccer matches – the Hot Pink team vs. the Orange team.
One of the best parts of camp at MSC is meal time together in the mess hall. So far campers and staff have enjoyed hot dogs and pizza for lunches and lasagna and Mexican for dinners.
