Closing ceremonies start at 10:30am tomorrow and pickup is at 11:00am. We are posting it here because there was once a discrepancy on the website. Our power was out for 2 hours tonight as a storm came through. At 9:00 we were able to resume the annual pillow fight championship. More news tomorrow. Good night from Shakamak.
After the team events, campers enjoyed our annual carnival activities. Face painting, cotton candy, shaved ice, and many carnival games. Here is a video showing some of the fun.

Today is team day at MSC Jr. Camp. Everyone is in their colored shirts and ready for our Jr. Olympic events. Here is a picture of the entire camp ready for the day.

Tuesday evening, we had our mid-week service where all the camp came together in the mess hall to sing songs and hear a lesson from God’s word. We were able to finish our team sports and crafts for the day with no additional rain. Here are some pictures from the afternoon activities.
Although our morning sports ended with a downpour, much of the rain happened while we were having lunch. But rain just makes mud puddles which makes sports….much more exciting. We adjusted our afternoon sports to be right after lunch to keep the outdoor activities within the window of forecasted dry weather. More pictures later from afternoon sports.
