Lunch at MSC Junior Camp is always spirited. The kids are excited from the morning games and hungry for the great lunch prepared by our wonderful kitchen staff. Campers also had some “quiet” time to enjoy board games and each other’s company. New friends had a chance to challenge each other to games and activities. Even some of the staff couldn’t resist the chance to jump in and show the campers how it’s done.
Although the afternoon sporting events were cancelled, the morning games went as scheduled. Teams enjoyed basketball, volleyball, soccer and kickball. Campers were able to play two of the four sports this morning. More major sports coming tomorrow as well.
Today, many of the kids enjoyed making crafts. MSC staff has been blessed to have Ms. Dayna Cade join us to oversee our craft time. MSC Junior Camp 2014 began today and the staff could not be more excited. Months of preparation goes into every camp and we want to thank all of the many volunteers that put so much effort into making this week so special for these 148 kids.
