Last night’s “Country Chic” Primavera Formal was a HUGE success with nearly 50 campers in attendance. The event was held at Cochran’s Banquet Hall in Jamestown, Indiana and included an amazing buffet dinner of roast beef, chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, green beans, salads, rolls, and cake. After dinner, Sr. Week Sports Director Greg King entertained with a couple humorous songs about runny noses and Chinese cats. Attendees competed in a cake topper design challenge and “Suck ‘Em Up, Buttercup” game to move the most Skittles within three minutes by sucking up the Skittles with a straw.
Once dinner was complete, the fun moved to Granville Wells Elementary School for an exciting evening of basketball, volleyball, and corn hole, as well as more quality time to socialize with fellow campers.
Many wonderful memories were made during last night’s event. A huge thank you goes out to Prim coordinator Rita Newton, as well as photographer Mark Newton.
