It’s has been a little overcast at Shakamak State Park today, but nothing can dampen our spirits here at MSC. Evan Casey helped us start our morning off right as he led out thoughts during flagpole devotion. With our overall theme of “God Fits” this week, today’s particular theme is friendship. “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners” (I Corinthians 15:33).
Evan reminded us how important it is to pick the right kind of friends. Making the wrong choice like Jeroboam can lead us down a path of sin and unrighteousness. However, making wise choices like David and Jonathan can provide much needed support throughout our life.
